The CG8 has been designed primarily as an instrument - the video equivalent of a music synthesiser and you play it just like one. It brings vitality and spontaneity back to visual performance.
The image source comes from JPEGs that are processed in real time. Video effects are added to the still image and modulated using low frequency oscillators and audio inputs to create seemingly endless variations and permutations.
